Fitness Corner
The Health & Recreation department of On Top of the World offers a variety of fitness programs for residents. Every month, we will feature one of these fitness classes offered by On Top of the World Communities.
This month’s featured class is Tai-Qi-Po.
Tai-Qi-Po is an ancient form of Chinese exercise incorporating circular, fluid movements that are relaxing and slow in tempo. It uses deep and slow breathing which aids in concentration. It calms the body and is gentle and beneficial for all parts of the body. Tai-Qi-Po is a simplistic form of balance training.
Tai-Qi-Po classes are on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am – 9:50 am weekly in the Health & Recreation Aerobics Room. This is a fee based class but as a guest in our Visitation Program, you may attend this class for free.
