Come See What’s Growing Each Week at the Farmer’s Market on The Town Square!

The Circle Square Commons Town Square is the weekly home of a Farmer’s Market offering a wide and appealing array of fresh produce, seasonal as well as year-round, from local and regional growers. But fresh produce is just one of the many items you can find! The Farmer’s Market has new items every week including flowers, plants, fresh baked goods, hand-made soaps, delicious pies and much more. Plus, the Market features local crafters and artists displaying creative and Chef cooking demonstration of fresh ingredients at the Circle Sqaure Commons Farmers Market. unique pieces from charming denim purses and beautiful oil paintings to wood working creations and framed photography.

The Farmer’s Market also holds "Flavors of the Season" cooking demonstrations by On Top of the World chefs every week. The chefs use farm-fresh produce available at the Market, along with other ingredients, to create mouth-watering meals. These demonstrations are held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. every week. After the demonstration, patrons are invited to sample the finished dishes and pick up a recipe card to try at home. Satified customer buying fresh vegetables at Farmers' Market Ocala, FL.

In addition to the weekly Thursday Farmer’s Market on The Town Square, the wonderful selection of fresh seasonal produce and more is now also available on the 4th Saturday of every month. The first ever 4th Saturday Farmer’s Market debuted on July 25th and featured all the same vendors found at the weekly market plus 10 craft merchants, LIVE music, a Model-A Car Show, a cooking demonstration, pet adoptions and much more! The Farmer’s Market on The Town Square has become Ocala’s premier market and it happens right here at the Circle Square Commons!

Independence Day Celebration
Hundreds enjoyed a patriotic evening dressed in red, white and blue and celebrated Independence Day at the Circle Square Commons Town Square on Saturday, July 4th. Residents and visitors alike celebrated America’s independence with a salute to the Armed Forces, a tribute to the Andrew Sisters performed by The Swing Sisters, and a Missing Man presentation performed by four World War II North American T-6 aircrafts. There was dancing, food and friendship had by all!

Island Festival Planned for August
On August 21st and 22nd, join the fun on The Town Square and get that tropical feeling from the Pacific and Caribbean islands. Enjoy performers from Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa and Tahiti as well as food vendors and live music. Plus dance to the rhythmic sounds of the Caribbean with Latin favorites like Salsa, Merengue, Bolero and more! You won’t want to miss beautiful Flamenco dancers as they entertain with their talent and skill.

The Circle Square Cultural Center hosted a night of comedy featuring funny men Vic Dibitetto and Johnny Roberts on Saturday, June 6th. Audience members laughed the night away with Roberts’ down-home southern fried humor and Dibitetto’s frenetic pace, non-stop energy and vivid material. On July 18th, the Circle Square Cultural Center proudly presented an exciting Four Tops tribute performed by Vintage. And coming up on August 8th, dance the night away to party song pioneer and entertainer extraordinaire Gary US Bonds. This is a dance party that can’t be missed! In September, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis and friends are remembered for their outstanding talent and timeless humor. A tribute to these entertainment icons makes for a fabulously funny night! In addition, Las Vegas style showgirls with multiple costume changes add to this exciting event.
